Who this policy covers
This policy applies to ariaengaged.co.uk only — the marketing website you are reading now. It does not cover ARIA the software product, which is licensed to and operated by separate organisations under their own terms, nor any product built on top of ARIA (see the Powered by ARIA page).
Data controller

What this site does not do
- No account creation or login
- No cookies set by this site itself
- No analytics or tracking scripts of any kind
- No data sent anywhere when you use the live hash demonstration — it uses your browser's own built-in cryptography (the Web Crypto API) and never transmits what you type
The vertical scope registration form
The Register a vertical page contains a contact form. When you submit it, the following information is collected:
- Organisation name
- Your name and work email address
- Your role or title (optional)
- Industry and the types of decisions you need observed
- How you currently classify outcomes (optional)
- Regulatory frameworks that apply to you
- Estimated monthly decision volume (optional)
- Any additional notes you choose to include
How it is processed: the form is handled by formsubmit.co, a third-party form relay service. On submission, formsubmit.co sends the data to us as an email at sales@ariaengaged.co.uk. Formsubmit.co's own privacy policy governs how they handle data in transit.
Why we collect it: to scope a taxonomy configuration for your ARIA deployment and to reply to your enquiry. The legal basis is legitimate interest in responding to a pre-contractual request.
How long we keep it: enquiry emails are retained for as long as is reasonably necessary to follow up on the scoping conversation. If you would like your information removed, contact us at the address above.
What happens when you visit
Two things happen that are outside this site's direct control:
- Fonts: this site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Loading a font from Google's servers means your browser makes a request to Google, which can see the requesting IP address. Google's own privacy policy governs that request.
- Hosting: this site is hosted via GitHub Pages. GitHub's infrastructure logs basic technical request data (such as IP address and request time) for security and operational purposes, governed by GitHub's own privacy policy.
Your rights
If you have submitted the registration form, you have rights under UK GDPR including the right to access, rectify, or request erasure of the information you provided. To exercise any of these rights, contact daniel.stokes@ariaengaged.co.uk. We will respond within one calendar month.
If you have not submitted the form, this site does not hold personal data about you of its own, so most data-subject rights have little to act on.
Changes to this policy
If what this site does changes — for example, if analytics is added — this page will be updated and the date at the top will change accordingly.
